Guest shoe44
alright, i am planning to purchase a new shotgun for deer hunting/turkey and geese. I have a few questions. I was wanting the SBEII, but after going to a few gun shops i can find it with the field barrel, problem is do they even make rifled barrels for the eagle anymore? two shops told me they couldnt get them, bass pro wasn't sure. Also, couldcould i shoot the black eagle two, and put an M2 rifled barrel on it. Any help would be much appreciated, i would like the black eagle two with the two barrels, but am not sure what to do. tucker301
The M2 barrel will not work on the SBEII. Your best bet is to buy the gun in a slugh configuration and then add the field barrel. Field barrels are still scarce, but they are easier to find than are the slug barrels.
goose2
Even if you think you are not going to shoot 3 1/2" loads, get the gun that will shoot them just in case you ever need to. I always over buy in this case, just in case.
