I know it's a nice gun, but I have a SBEII and don't think I can get used to a pump. A guy there won a Mossberg 4x4 win 300 with a scope and wanted to trade straight up. If I did, I would sell that one for sure. Does anyone know what a DU Super Nova in Max-4 HD might go for? I think the Mossberg might be worth more. tucker301 Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 The DU thing doesn't add much value to cheaper guns. What brand and model scope was on the rifle? A good piece of glass can easily exceed the cost of the rifle, although I doubt that will be the case on a DU dinner Mossberg. Quote

That being said, if you want a deer rifle, then sell the Nova and buy a Savage 110 in .300 WM or whatever caliber floats your boat. You WILL get a more accurate and better built rifle off the bat.
