12Gauge
Has anybody ever had any experience cutting one of the SBEII barrels down? It is my understanding that it can be done, but it just cannot be rethreaded to take the same CrioPlus choke tubes. Cutting it down without rethreading it is not anything I want to do. I have a LH 28" in the Max 4 and would really like it to be shorter for turkey hunting. If anybody has had one cut down, could you please let me know what choke tubes you had it re-threaded for and who cut it down for you. Thanks for any input you may have or please let me know if anybody has a 24" LH barrel that they would sell.

nchunter
Anybody have any ideas? Contact Darlington gun works. They can do it but you will probably have to use an aftermarket choke.(843) 921-3849
mudhen
Anybody have any ideas? No, never heard of anyone cutting down an SBE or SBE II barrel. I'd call a gunsmith or someone at Briley for information.
