bowhnter
I have a SBE II with a Kicks Gobblin Thunder .665 choke. I shoot 3 1/2 #5. Any suggestions on what brand of shells to shoot?
Mr. Mac
That's one of those questions that has no good answer until you pattern your SBE with a couple of different brands and decide which one patterns best. I know my Winchester likes Winchester Super-X shot and my Remington likes Federal's MagShok best.

jtk47
i shoot nitro brand shells. They are out of Missouri. Expensive but man they shoot a tight pattern, i have shot all the major brands and they are the best I have seen. Depending on the year and model of the gun he has a custom shot designed for the gun. mudhen
I'm not a fan of Kick's GT in SBE's - just can't get the pattern I want. If I had to choose a shell, it would be large lead from Winchester - like HV 4's or 5's. Good luck!
