Another fix for the small bolt release button.......

I took this idea directly from another member who drilled and tapped his release button.

 

I bought an Ed Brown 1911 large mag release button and drilled and tapped the button.....

Pick up your monitor and turn it counterclockwise 90 degrees.

 

That's a very good idea ERdept... and looks good too. I may have to look a little more closely at that trick.

how far does it come out from the receiver? looks like it casts a long shadow in that second picture.

I sticks out about 1/4 inch. The shadow makes it look much longer.
