R1VT
I was wondering if anybody had worked up any loads for the 270 wsm in 130 gr.. I am thinking about using Hornady 130 gr. interloks. Any thoughts would be great! Thanks
sydlies
Hello R1VT Because of the 1-11 rate of twist it is hard to find store ammo that will give you good groups. As you have read on the other posts they have found ammo that works pretty good. Make sure that you clean the barrel with a good copper cleaner, such as Sweets, for I have found the barrel will foul easily and will not clean up with the regular solvents. tyson129
Thanks for the reply. So is anybody reloading for the R1 in 270 wsm? Thanks I know this is not about the R1 but I'm going to start reloading wildcat loads for my .257 Roberts Ackley Improved and I am going to be using the Hornady Interlok SSTs after doing extensive research, so I think that you have made a great choice for the projectile you want to use. (TANK)
I do reloading for my bolt action but I wouldn't recommend reloading for an auto.

Full-length resizing Do not exceed published OAL Crimped Stay within published limits Follow those few simple rules, and reloads are just fine for semi-autos.
