DETECTIVE1108
Anyone know where to get a factory (HK Type) sling for the M-4? The front sling attachment is wider than the one on the buttstock and I dont want to use a slimmer 1" or so sling. Does the rear buttstock sling mount take a metal clip or something? Forgive my ignorance...

pattonwr
I've had really good luck with Galco's BATTL Sling for Benelli... http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterP3.asp?ProductID=3088&CatalogID=404 Very sturdy, configurable, options for different carrying techniques and shooting scenarios. Hookster
I use a Specter Gear sling on most of my long arms. I just ordered another one today for my new Socom 16. Here's a link to their Benelli sling. http://www.spectergear.com/specterstore/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=812&idcategory=29 The one in the link is 1 1/4" wide and has a 1" loop attachment point that secures to the stock. I use their buttstock shell carrier/rear sling adapter though so I use that as the stock end attachment point. It's seen here: http://www.spectergear.com/specterstore/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=1839&idcategory=14 and you can use the sling rear adapter without the shell carrier portion if you want. Hookster I second the CQB sling from Spector Gear. Its a great sling. the rear attachment to the stock is smaller than the forward attachment. Its a great product for the price.
