squib Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 I bought a new M2 at the end of August and shot it throughout dove season. I noticed last night that the recoil pad is roughed up and looks like it is falling apart. I have run about 600 rounds through the gun. Is this typical? Quote

Is this typical? roughed up? yes, especially hunting you will get some surface scratches/nicks falling apart? no, if you had a picture maybe that would help determing if it was really falling apart Quote

sneakerfreak602 Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 If its cracking or drying out I would replace it. Heck its a Benelli and you probably spent good money on it so whats a new recoil pad? If its just scratched or knicked per say I wouldnt replace it. Quote
