jakjakman Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 I have one of the limited edition M1014s and am finally getting around to fixing the fact that I have a collapsible stock which doesn't collapse due to the current buffer tube. I see that I have two options: 1) Purchase a new buffer tube with the correct milling to allow the stock to collapse. I've seen some factory 3-position tubes on gunbroker in the past, but am not finding any at the moment. Anyone have any info where I can get my hands on one of these? 2) Have my current buffer tube milled to allow for the 3-position collapsing functionality. Does anyone know of a good,m reliable gunsmith who is familiar with this process and has done it in the past? Thanks! Quote

Michael Palombi Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 jakjakman, I have a 3 position tube that I'd sell. Email me for details: [email protected] Michael Palombi Quote
Flame Red Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 try here http://www.e-gunparts.com/model_new.asp?catID=10331 The one above is a two position tube. I ordered one and returned it. Keep your eye on GB. If you are patient, you will eventually find one for a reasonable price - usually one that gets no other bids. Don't feed into the bidding frenzy or you will overpay! Quote
