zee10103 Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Is the KS Rail marked Made in the USA? Thanks, TDL. Quote
Hookster Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 (edited) Hi Zee, Yes, It's marked "KZ U.S.A" Here's a photo. It's a little hard to see but it's marked at the front under the side rail with a little white star logo Take Care, Hookster Edited November 28, 2009 by Hookster Quote
texas skeeter Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 this rail wouldnt be so bad if they used straight or diagnal style slits for venting!! those round holes remind me of the lil pokadot toys i played with when i was little!! Quote
Hookster Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Yeah, They look a little better in person than pics Hookster Quote
texas skeeter Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 my 1-1/2 yr old son is pushing that little pop-pop-pop thing right now w/ those colored round balls in it. and all i can see is the KZ rail!! Quote

Well at least it sounds like your son's "little pop-pop-pop thing" is 922r compliant. even if he did modify it to hold more colored round balls than OEM. Later, Hookster Quote
texas skeeter Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 your ALRIGHT hookster!!! and thanks again for the pic class!! Quote
StrangerDanger Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 No Go for the pop pop machine. My 13 month old has one. It clearly says it is made in China. Therefore, it doesn't qualify as a US made device and is subject to regulation. Unless you switch enough balls with US made balls. You don't want Eric Holder coming to your house. Quote

Quick!! someone call Kip and see if he's going to produce titanium pop-pop balls marked "Made in USA" Quote
zee10103 Posted November 29, 2009 Author Posted November 29, 2009 Thank you for the scan and info. Question, do you prefer the Factory Grip, or does the KZ feel right. This is not a sensual phrase. Straight up. Thanks, TDL. Quote

Straight up. Thanks, TDL. Hi Zee, The KZ does not feel as good as the factory grips to me but it's ok. If you want a USA made forend, the choices are limited. Here's a review I did of the KZ http://www.benelliusa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19590&highlight=kz Hookster Quote
zee10103 Posted November 29, 2009 Author Posted November 29, 2009 Yes, that was what I was thinking. If rail covers are install, than it is almost a Pringle Can size. The factory Grips are large enough already. Now John Wayne would have no issues. We kept flying over the Alamo Set during filming. Mr. Wayne met up with us one day. Funny A sole Indian on horse back, than a F4 flying in the back set @ 170 knots. Quote
Hookster Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 With ladder style covers on the side it's not so bad. Hookster Quote

zee10103 Posted November 29, 2009 Author Posted November 29, 2009 You know they want $15.00 to ship the Rail. That's about 15 lbs. Quote
Hookster Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Yeah... I really hate when you order some small part like a spring or something that they stick in a regular letter envelope and they still charge you $8.95 or whatever for the shipping Hookster Quote
zee10103 Posted December 1, 2009 Author Posted December 1, 2009 Hookster, Just ordered and saved 15%. Shipped $184.31 Almost $30.00 off. No I can replace that bicycle tire with my savings. Quote
Hookster Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Sounds good Zee. Let us know what you think of the KZ after you get it installed. Hookster Quote

zee10103 Posted December 1, 2009 Author Posted December 1, 2009 I do have the Mesa 6 shot holder attached. I would like to keep it attached and @ the same time use the new rail as well. I will try my metal cutting skills. I will need to locate three full length rail covers as well. Quote

You don't need to use the seperate top rail section with the KZ forend for it to be secure so you may be able to keep the Mesa without having to cut anything. Let us know. Later, Hookster Quote
zee10103 Posted December 1, 2009 Author Posted December 1, 2009 Yes, I will check it out. Before I d'anything I will post a ?. It has already ship. That was fast. Quote
