malakaz
Hey guys. Just got my new vinci today!! Has anyone else found it very very hard to twist the stock and barrel together? I got it on the first time with a lot of force and since then it is a little easier but still requires quite a bit of strength. Maybe it just needs to be broken in? hognutz
The more you do it, the easier it gets. Whether it is break-in or technique I don't know, but it does get easier.
BOB_HARWELL
It gets easier after a few times. I shimmed mine to the thickest LH shim, after putting the forearm/receiver on I felt like I had just a baby. Sent mine back last Mon., will not cycle 3 - 1 1/8 shells. abott
Repetition and a tiny bit of gun grease helped with mine. I still brace the stock between my knees to twist it on all the way, but not to get it off. Not sure I'd really want it any looser.
BigAL33
I'm glad that I'm not the only one who finds it difficult.
