  1. A 3 1/2" Auto may or may not cycle some dove or target loads. BOB
  2. Does the state you live in have a 'lemon' law? BOB
  3. I think Nellis & Rettas are a 16mm. BOB
  4. I will shoot every Sat. & Wed. at one of my club fields all 3 seasons. BOB
  5. You can only change the safety, stock shims & recoil pad. I made a RH 20 M2, LH by doing this. BOB
  6. Look before you leap. Should have. BOB
  7. Let S.W. send the gun back to Benelli for you. BOB
  8. I have a Vinci, my second one, a 12 & 20 M2. One is no better than the other, but, you never have enough guns. BOB
  9. DIY would depend on how mechanical minded a person is. I had 2 'gunsmiths' look at one of mine for 30 mins. & had no idea where to start to change the safety. One said put the trigger group in a zip lock bag, that spring looks like it has tension on it, don't want it to fly off & get lost. BOB
  10. agm65ccip, I've come to the conclusion, I've had 2 Vinci safeties changed from right to left. You can also send it back to Benelli & they will change it. BOB
  11. Yes the safety can be changed from right to left hand. My gunsmith did mine in about 15 mins. BUT, he is a gunsmith, not a parts changer. BOB
  12. Have you called Benelli customer Service? BOB
  13. The safety can be switched to LH. BOB
  14. As a last resort you can add a slip on recoil pad. I did that to a youth model Nova (20) that I used as a turkey gun. BOB
  15. How many rounds did Tom Knapp fire through his gun? BOB
  16. Are you using a bench rest? BOB
  17. No it doesn't pop out w/hammer & screwdriver. The trigger assy. has to be removed & some parts removed, safety reversed, replaced & she is set up for us backward people. BOB
  18. Beretta Arms Co isn't necessarily the higher up co. Benelli, Stoeger & Franchi 'own' nothing, they are owned by the Beretta family members who formed Beretta Holding Co. Beretta bought Sako rifles & got Stoeger in the deal. I think the Stoeger autos are made in Turkey & the o/u & sxs' are made in Brazil. Why does one man buy a Chevy, one buy a Buick, they are both owned by GM? BOB
  19. Beretta Holding Co., the Beretta family, own Benelli, Franchi, Stoger, Uberti & a few other gun Cos. All of these guns are made in different factorys, some not in Italy. A big sales pitch that is used in a lot of sport shops when selling Franchi's & Stoger's is "It is made by Benelli." BOB

    vinci help

It gets easier after a few times. I shimmed mine to the thickest LH shim, after putting the forearm/receiver on I felt like I had just a baby. Sent mine back last Mon., will not cycle 3 - 1 1/8 shells. BOB
  21. I had a gunsmith change my Vinci safety to left hand. Took him 10 min., works fine. BOB
  22. I have 2, M2s, a LH 12 & a 20ga. I mostly shoot doves with them, maybe a few Wood ducks. I see no real advantage in a 3 1/2" guns. I've been told by several gumsmiths that most 3" shells pattern better than 3 1/2" shells. That's just me. BOB
  23. Call Benelli Customer Service & ask. 301 283 6981 BOB
  24. With any 20, you can kill any, deer, duck, turkey, dove, quail or phesant, just as dead, just as far, as you can with a 3 1/2" mag. Bigger is not, better, as some people think. Been there, done that. 2 yrs. ago in Ill. I was killing ducks with a 20ga. 391 Eurika, Enviro Metal 4s as far & deader than by buddies shooting 3 1/2 2s. Why? BOB
  25. If you have no paper work for the gun, call Benelli Customer Service, they will mail you all you need. 301 283 6981 BOB
