mightye152
I'm in the market for a new shotgun. I like the dependability of a pump shotgun, so of course I'm interested in Benelli's Super Nova. I'm just wondering if owners of this shotgun are pleased with it, and if there have been any issues with the Super Nova?
GBMotorsports
I owned a Super Nova for 2 years before I stepped up to a Super Black Eagle II. It was a great gun. The ONLY thing that ever went wrong with it, was 99% likely to be my fault. I was duck hunting in the pissing down rain when it was 18 degrees outside sitting on the Columbia River and as a couple ducks came in I took a shot and... nothing. It looks like I was using the wrong type of lube and it froze inside the receiver causing a failure to fire. I jacked the shells out and pumped it a few times...and it worked just fine after that. My bad. I Love my SBEII but am currently looking at getting another Super Nova. As far as comfort goes, I would definitely choose the Super over the regular nova as I have shot magnum loads with both and yes, the comfortech stock makes a difference. If the supernova feels right when you hold it, I say go for it. Take care of it properly and you wont be disappointed.
Novaking
I know 2 nova's and a supernova. At are great guns. I've had zero problems with any of them. I perfer my novas over my super. But like I said. All are great guns.
Erick
The Super Nova's are great if you ever plan on changing the stock or installing a Buris scope. Other than that and maybe a few things, the Nova is just as good but a little cheaper. I believe there is not a better pump shotgun made. arizona98tj
While I fully enjoy the possibility of swapping out a stock....do you have any ideas as to who is making an aftermarket stock for the SuperNova? I've had mine for two years now and haven't seen one made for it. Just wondering.....
