needinga8gauge
Might go to a black bps 10 ga next year for turkey/ all else .I know ammo is expensive but it's no more than a 3.5 12 ga and most of them are using pricy hevi-shot anyway .Ammo is hard to find , while true but that is why we have internet(besides porn) so we can get things that usaully are inconvient .Or if H&R starts making their sb2 10 ga agin might get one of those.http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/67756-5.html probably get like 300 rounds if i buy the gun or get meh a 500 smitty for those damn hogs
greenhornet
why not I used my benelli m1 and b.p.s 10 gauge last year, it's all about choice:p
mudhen
Tried the 10 ga BPS route. Got some 500-550+ patterns at 40 yards. Just didn't like the recoil, so I sold it Getting 300+ with 12 ga H-13 #7's now, so I think I'm going to be ok....

needinga8gauge
well my stoeger 350 3.5" 12 ga weighs only 6.4 lbs and i have fired 2 1/4 oz load @ 1200 fps .So i think i can handle a bps 10 ga which has a slower recoiling fps

Something from Nitro, 4x5x7 or something like that. H-13 is making 10 gauge in 6's & 7's next year I have heard...

I thought a few of the 10 gauge Nitros would be a piece of cake. They weren't for me 10 gauge waterfowl loads kicked like a 20 gauge though.... Scotty82
10 gauge waterfowl loads kicked like a 20 gauge though.... Thats good to know. My next gun purchase was going to be a 10ga auto, hearing this it makes it more likely. Definetly want the auto, not a pump.

No doubt about it - regular 10 gauge factory waterfowl loads are almost pleasant to shoot given the heft of most 10 gauge guns, be they semi-autos or pumps. And oh boy, does the 10 gauge pattern well with steel shot I will buy another 10 gauge some day, just not right now...
needinga8gauge
well i dont plan on buying nitro's .Im what you call a high volume shooter .i can step off my back porch and fire like 50 rds.I found a place that sells 10 ga winchester turkey loads for 7$ a box .also im not buying it to try and gain somthing over a 3.5" 12 ga or anything like that.I just want one for 3 reasons.#1 i like 10 better than 12 because 0 is my favorite number more so than 2.#2i like big heavy long guns #3 when i hear people talking about their ***** gunz ill say i use a 10 ga on everything lmao.seroiusly though id buy like 600 rd's the month after i bought the gun. 300 lead rd's 300 steel shot
