gobblergetter1422
i just purchased a benelli nova with a 26 inch barrel and put a primos jelly head choke on it. I would like to shoot 3.5 in shells but dont know which type of shell to use??? i would also like to know if the recoil reducer is worth the price??? KEN
I like the Federal with the flight control wads. Killed turkeys out to 60 yrds.
gobblergetter1422
i didnt know if those would work though because i think the jelly head choke tries to seperate the wad from the bb's
308
If you can shoot # 7's in your state, I would get some HEVI -13 #7's. I have a SBE2 w/ a Jelly Head and put 338 pellets in a 10" circle @ 40 yards. Good Luck.

CH/QuakerBoyProstaff
The recoil reducer is a personal choice. If you are shooting at a turkey, you won't feel it at all. You will however, feel it while toting that thing around all day. While patterning, you can put an oven mitt between you and the gun to keep it comfortable in the meantime. Save your money for a decent choke tube or some calls. IMO
mudhen
I shoot 3.5" H-13 #6's & #7's. I do so because they pattern well in my guns and seem to be very effective in the field. I loaned my gun to a buddy last weekend. He returned with a big tom and a wide-eyed expression on his face. He had taken a long shot and had crushed the bird. I try to use the best equipment that I can reasonably afford
