List of light mounting options for M4

So I'm trying to find a light mount for my M4. Below is what I've found so far and thought that others may find this useful. Perhaps we can build on this and make it a "sticky?"

 

Anyway, this list favors the smaller more refined clamp options as opposed to the more expensive full rail replacements (figure everyone knows about those...and it's not what I'm looking for).

This is what/ all you will ever need in my opinion (http://www.botachtactical.com/kzm4.html) I have it, and alot of members on here have it. The KZ rail is sturdy, and rock solid. Plus it looks bad azz!! Botach usually has a "coupon" on their site. I believe you would type in "stimulus" when you check out, and that will save you 15% on your order.

Others on here have the surefire etc. Search this forum, and you will find reviews a pictures of all sorts!

Thanks but what exactly is it and where do you get it? Can't tell by the picture. Also, which front hand guard is that?

just go to FEEBAY and type in "offset flashlight mount" and SHAZAAM!! it will appear!! the quad rail is from a Swiss co. called Brugger & Thommet.... good luck with yer search.

I didn't want to light up my bbl or sights, so I wanted the light towards the end.

Unless you are using a tape switch you are better off with the BMT clamp with a 6 slot rail. If you have a tape switch, then either will work but the MOD-C is a little more refined and there is nothing more to buy. It also attaches with only one screw going into a steel threaded insert. If you check out the website you will see how they are built because there is a little graphic cut-a-way on the MOD-C page.
