Sniper
Are the Urbino stocks available for the M4 yet, anyone used one, pros, cons. Are there any other alternatives (Kip, love my titanium extension). I added a slip on Limbsaver to my M4 for buck and slugs but the LOP on the factory stock is an issue. Hookster
Hey Sniper, The Urbino isn't available yet but it should be very soon although the version with the cheek riser will take longer. Later, Hookster
Sniper
It seems like Mesa is always behind the curve.
Duggan
It seems like Mesa is always behind the curve. In the firearm world, take whatever timeline for a product you're initially given and add 6 months - 5 years. Nothing is ever out "on time". I personally stopped following Mesa ages ago, when the rail they promised for years was going to come out ... never came out, with endless excuses. I'm not saying it's their fault, stuff happens and it screws everything up, etc, but some companies generally make it happen and others do not ... I am more interested in the ones that do. If and when the Urbino is ever released, I will buy one. But I'm certainly not holding my breath, or even counting on them being out before 2011. Sniper
I am never in a hurry to purchase anything. I gave up on their rail and went with the Surefire a long time ago. The question I have is how do you stay in business selling from an empty wagon (wish I knew how to). BTW does anyone else offer an alternative stock to reduce LOP that is not collapsible? CHEERS! wave
Don't know if this helps you out but I just got off the phone with Mitch @ Mesa Tactical to order an Urbino for my Super Nova Tactical...."hopefully before Christmas" because the M4's are coming out first.
