StrangerDanger Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 its as easy as this^ Unless you have an Urbino. Quote
JPurp Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Can anyone confirm how the Urbino attaches? I assume for the M4 it will screw on like a factory stock. I am in the Peoples Republic of Kalifornia and can't install my c-stock while in state. I like the fact that the Urbino has a shorter length of pull. Mesa Tactical's office is about 3 minutes from my house so I would like to support them. That said if the stock takes 3 hands to install I will pass. Quote
StrangerDanger Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 It just takes tools like a common stock from other makers. You have to unscrew it with a flat head from the butt stock. Just a little poke at it. Not really a deal breaker IMO. Just a step backwards from the ingenuity of the M4. Quote
chuck_s Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 To remove the Urbino stock: 1. Pop off the butt plate (it just snaps on the end). 2. Remove the screw. Caution: this takes a special tool known as a screwdriver! No need to remove the trigger group. Hardly annoying or difficult. Especially since removing the stock is not a normal maintenance item. -- Chuck Quote
uscm Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 To add, I've installed and removed my Urbino plenty of times now. It's super easy and quick. Quote
saym14 Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Unless you have an Urbino. LOL! but actually if you have a rare and priceless screwdriver the Urbino is easier as you dont have to remove the trigger group. Quote
