R1 .300WM Magazines

I have read several threads discussing a larger magazine for the .300 WM R1. Is anyone aware of any larger magazine than the standard? WIll a .308 magazine fit the .300 R1? Any suggestions would be helpful.

I do not believe that you can get higher capacity magazines for the magnum R1's. 10 round magazines are available from Numrich for the 30-06 and 308:

They offer the regular 3 round magazines only for the magnum chamberings.

Benelli Armi (itatly) advetises a optional 5 shot mag. At the bottom of the mag accessories under optional.

They have 10 shot for 308 and 06 only right from benelli.

how hard it will be to order one from italy i could not say. Worth a try. I may try myself.

Note: when at the benelli armi home page remember the R1 is called an Argo (same gun).

Thanks I appreciate the information. I purchased an extra 3 shot mag but even a 5 shot would be great. I have looked everywhere and have not been able to find anything. Will let you know how it gors if I decide to try an order.
