rbroms Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Where can I find replacement barrels for my SBE??? Somehow the original barrel fractured slightly at the mouth of the chamber. It basically looks like the mouth of the chamber has a small piece missing, which causes the occasional shell to get stuck (and cut) during autoloading. In addition, I question whether the shell seats properly due to the damage. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ryan Quote
truckcop Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Have you contacted Benelli? I bet they'll make it right. Otherwise, they come up occasionally on GunBroker and other sites. Google is your friend. Quote
rbroms Posted June 16, 2011 Author Posted June 16, 2011 I sent the whole gun to them with pictures of the damage. They sent it back saying they couldn't find any problems. That took about 12 weeks. Thankfully their head gunsmith has offered to send a call tag and bring it back in for a closer look, but it's probably going to be the end of summer before it comes back. In the mean time I'd like to find a replacement barrel so I can break some clays. Quote
planman Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Just checked Gunbroker for you, there is a plethora of SBE barrels on there right now, all lengths and all colors. Quote
rbroms Posted June 16, 2011 Author Posted June 16, 2011 All I can find are camo SBE II barrels. I have a wood-stock SBE. Are they truly interchangeable? I've heard the fore grips are not. Quote
