tucker301
Do you think it's worth trying? Not when I already have a case of Black Cloud and a case Hevi-Metal on hand.
cootcommander
Sounds like they may not be selling as expected. Macks already had the cheapest price on them. Makes you wonder. I am with Tuck on this one BC and HV. The BC's pattern so good in my gun.
duckht183
Not when I already have a case of Black Cloud and a case Hevi-Metal on hand.If I would of known, I would of sent you the contact info of my dad's buddy because he had or still has 2 cases of Hevi-Shot 3.5" #2's that he was looking to sell for cheap because he hated the stuff.. hattles
duckht183. I might p/u a box from Bass Pro. for divers, just to give em a try. I've got a $10 certificate I can use for them. Otherwise, I've got 4 cs of Win. Xpert 3" 1-1/4oz #2's and a half dozen boxes of 3.5" BB's...along with maybe a mixed case of Fiocchi 3" 1-1/4oz 2's and 4's...that'll last me a few years and they kill just fine. duckht183
Cabela's has had 3 people that rated Blind Side and every person gave it a 5 star review.. All three were saying that this stuff was crushing ducks and geese well out to 50 yards.
TMAC
Some people must enjoy paying too much money for shotgun shells, really now what next. 50 yard shots for the average Joe that only hunts and never target shoots is a hope and a poke shot, most guys at that distance are just blowing holes in the sky. duckht183
My dad shot Blind Side on opening weekend through his SBE1 and said it did nothing but pull feathers from birds... So he went back to shooting the Remington Hypersonics. And although his shoulder's all bruised up, it doesn't look that bad after killing a limit of ducks. hattles
duckhtr183, I think that with most people,it's a matter of shoot what you trust! I'm quite satisfied shooting my Win Xpert $9.99/ box 3", 1-1/4oz #2's. I'm not opposed to trying new loads but why pay more for something to do the same job that you were doing for 65% less. I have read that the Remington Hypers do kick like a mule and it's pretty well known that the SBE1 kick hard too...I can only imagine the two together. OUCH! duckht183
I'm with you hattles, I've pulled 12 ducks and 7 geese off of the river so far this season all killed with Winchester Xperts. Why shoot anything else when I haven't had to ring out one bird yet...
duckht183
I had a good laugh though watching the old man try and lift his arm..
