Vertigofirearms
Can the M2 trigger guard fit on the M1 with a sporting stock?
truckcop
Fit? Yes. Function properly? Probably. The M1 trigger guard/stock interface is different from the M2. The M1 has that protrusion from the trigger guard into the stock which the M2 doesn't have. Putting the M2 trigger guard into the M1 will leave that half-moon area open. I imagine that you would raise quite a blister on the inside of your middle finger if you shot it much. I suppose you could fill it in with some filler material to alleviate that problem. Otherwise, I would think the thing would work but since I haven't actually tried that change, my thinking ain't worth much. M1 stock on right, M1 trigger guard in middle, M2 trigger guard on left:
