Xchief30 Posted July 26, 2015 Share Posted July 26, 2015 (edited) Hopefully some experts here can help me out. I picked up an extra barrel for my M4. When the seller told me it doesn't use chokes, I was hoping it was an M1014 Barrel. It arrived yesterday and definitely is from a M1014. Is it safe to use on my M4 ? There is two slight differences M4 barrel has a ring where it seats in the receiver, m1014 does not. M4 barrel has an extra piece, almost like a wing ,at the very end that is right near the bolt carrier [ATTACH]2880[/ATTACH] I did sit it on the receiver and tighten it up, functions fine, just don't want to shoot any rounds until I hear from the experts.
