AR-BALLISTIC Posted September 16, 2006 Posted September 16, 2006 I just got done installing my new full length FACTORY magazine tube on my M4 and it looks AWESOME!!(No , I did not use any loctite!!)Thanks M1014!! I think it will make it so much easier to take off later if I need to. And once the endcap is screwed on its rock solid. You guys were not kidding about what a pain it is to remove the existing factory tube!!! It was really glued in place!!! I almost gave up. But with a little intestinal fortitude, and the right amount of heat I finally unthreaded it. Thanks for the advice given by others who have done this. stockplayer Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 AR you should have added some blue........on your first shot your benelli will unscrew itself and you will be left holding only the stock and fore-grip. I have seen it happen a hundred times. [ 09-16-2006, 07:15 PM: Message edited by: stockplayer ] Quote
AR-BALLISTIC Posted September 17, 2006 Author Posted September 17, 2006 stockplayer , are you being serious or are you joking? Others have said the opposite. That no loctite is needed. How will it unscrew itself with the endcap securely tightened? Quote
M1014 Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 he's bsing you man,,don't fall for it Quote
AR-BALLISTIC Posted September 17, 2006 Author Posted September 17, 2006 It's hard to tell around here sometime. Quote
stockplayer Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 sorry I am just jokin man My bad! You are right, it will not unscrew with the cap on. I need to stop Quote
Duggan Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 It requires TIG welding. No liquid compound is strong enough to keep the new mag tube on. Quote
