Pic Rail mounted to a M2 Field Shotgun

Is it possible to attached a pic rail system to a Benelli M2 Field Shotgun to add a Leupold Red Dot sight?

Yes, but you'll need to drill/tap the receiver.

I drilled & tapped threads on my Remington 870. It was a fun and easy project. Really easy if you have a small drill press and a cheapo vice.

Yes I'm wanting to mount a vortex viper Reddot to my M2 20 gauge (older) and it's not drilled/tapped and I was wondering which picatinny rail was best for this. Thanks

I would use standard Benelli hole spacing and slap a scalarworks on top.

Use one of these.  Same spacing as factory.
