Mike Nelson Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 Is it possible to attached a pic rail system to a Benelli M2 Field Shotgun to add a Leupold Red Dot sight? Quote
truckcop Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 Yes, but you'll need to drill/tap the receiver. Quote
NineInchNails Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 I drilled & tapped threads on my Remington 870. It was a fun and easy project. Really easy if you have a small drill press and a cheapo vice. I used this Mesa Tactical picatinny rail. It says it works on Benelli shotguns too. https://www.brownells.com/shooting-accessories/flashlights-accessories/accessory-mounts/rem-870-receiver-rail-5-1-2--sku100005801-27200-76055.aspx I bought this thread tap: https://www.midwayusa.com/product/262861/hanson-carbon-steel-bottom-tap This drill bit: https://www.midwayusa.com/product/758836/baker-drill-bit-jobber-length-titanium-nitride-tin-coated-31 Quote
Peyton Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 Yes I'm wanting to mount a vortex viper Reddot to my M2 20 gauge (older) and it's not drilled/tapped and I was wondering which picatinny rail was best for this. Thanks Quote
NCswamp13 Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 I would use standard Benelli hole spacing and slap a scalarworks on top. 1 1 Quote

Thanks Use one of these. Same spacing as factory. Pic Rail Quote
