Remove the barrel first. Use aforementioned snap ring pliers to remove snap ring. Then you'll be able to adjust the sling plate as you want. Reinstall snap ring.

What footprint does the vortex have? If you could get it mounted to a scalarworks sync, I think it would solve the height problem.

When did they start using polymer trigger guards on the m4s?

20240104_220540.mp4 On inertia benelli shotguns, there is an inertia spring in the bolt carrier that's pretty beefy. So always make sure you let the bolt slam home to avoid out of battery. It's pretty common. As far as it being easyto take it out of "lockup", these are very smooth operating guns, it shouldn't take much to unlock them. 20240104_221214.mp4

I have a "Gen 2" M3 and it has the same cut. Looks like it's for the extractor.

It adds a little weight but it's worth it to me.

Other than the rear bolt being the wrong size, mine is perfect! Fits like a glove. I'll post pics when I get it locked down with a new bolt.

I was telling my wife the other day that even though the M4 is my go-to shotgun, the M3 is probably the most versatile firearm I own. Buy the 26" hunting barrel and it's truly a one-stop shop of the shotgun world. And more you shoot it, the better it runs. The duel operating modes really make it hard to beat. And with a little work it's able to be ghost loaded. And yes my wife actually listens and "acts" interested when I'm going on about shotgun theory. Lol she's an angel.
