Slugs in a M1014.

I remember reading somewhere (maybe Benelli) that they advertised against using slugs in the mod choke M1014, I emailed their tech depo to verify and they told me all versions of the M4 is built to military specification and even the M1014 with a modified choke wouldn’t have any issues shooting slugs.

Can you shoot slugs through a mod? Yes. The question is SHOULD you.  I wouldn’t use any restriction tighter than IC. This is what I do but you do what you want.

If this barrel is the same as the USMC issued M1014 barrel then slugs are fine.  USMC would be shooting slugs out of the same barrel.

I have a M1014 , I have shot slug and havent had any issues. Roughly around 500 rounds, but mostly buck shot now.
