Evolution is spot on. Could you shoot a slug through a MOD? Yes. Would it do any damage? Maybe, maybe not. The way I look at it: Better safe than having to get a new barrel for my M4. My M4 came with the factory supplied MOD choke tube. I bought a Cylinder choke and can shoot everything through it. John Doe, you are not being a nuisance at all. You have come to the correct place to gain knowledge about your M4. All here are fans of shotguns and fanatics about M4’s

Do not shoot anything out of your shotgun without a choke tube properly installed. I would not shoot a slug out with a restriction tighter than IC.

I think what it all boils down to is a need for validation. People make a purchase based on whatever parameters they deem important and then look around for validation from others that they made the best choice. My opinion is to enjoy the process of the purchase and enjoy the fruits of your labor. Use it for whatever you want. Become proficient with your platform.

My M4 has the PG stock which is easily controllable and great fun to shoot. With that said, I really like the looks of the M4 with the field stock. Not sure why. Would the FS make me a better shooter? Probably not. But it looks good.

Definitely the Esstac shotgun cards.

Hello all, I just purchased a few of these as an alternative to a traditional side saddle. Has anyone been utilizing these or a similar product and if so, thoughts on Velcro application and long term serviceability.

Alright Benelli men and women. What are the differences between the M2 and the SBE3. Be as technical as you wish.

The first outing with my new M4 : Fed it 25 Federal 00 Buck and 5 Remington Turkey loads. Second time out: 50 rounds of Remington target 9 shot. No issues at all. Ran the low brass like a champ. I do run my action well lubed.
