Right handed shooter, which side sling?

I currently have a QD on the front at the bottom of my M LOK rail. In the rear I have a sling swivel QD which came with my mesa tactical Urbino. I'd like to QD on the rear as well, but unsure if running it on the left side would function well. The front right of my rail has a light/pressure pad. The right rear of the stock has a side saddle. I see most run a left front and right rear for a 2 point sling. Would left and left work or am i better off under and under? Left front and under rear didn't work for me.

The muzzle should face the direction you intend to engage with. Not sure why you'd want to carry like you do but yes, the gun would likely flip so if you insist on carrying like that you should mount the QD on the right.

I mean towards my left foot. Not literally left lol.

I run left front right rear. The reason being is the sling can be tightened and the weapon is held more securely with a sling on the right side. It actually pulls the butt stuck towards the chest.

I also run this sling over the right shoulder

I run my sling over my right shoulder and under my left arm pit with the muzzle facing to the left of my left foot across my chest. The reason for my question is i'd like to get the gun tighter to my body but i don't think i could run it on the right side of the stock due to the side saddle. I looked into a flush mount QD mount but i don't want to drill holes in my stock and find out the location won't work for my intended purposes.

I run my tactical sling on my my M4 as m2_shooter described, thus only run a Velcro side saddle on the left side of the receiver and none on the buttstock. That is a trade off you’re gonna have to decide on. On my mossberg I run a traditional 2-pt sling coming off the left side at the front and rear but with this type of sling I can’t wear it slung up.

I’m using an IWC QD socket for the Benelli collapsible stock body. It works well and is a bolt on piece.

I am a right handed shooter as well. I run all my long gun slings the same. On my M4, I have it set up with a BCM QD on the front left, closest to the receiver, of a MWI handrail (9 o'clock if you're pointing it out) and utilizing the right side sling point on the collapsible stock. All my slings are Blue Force Gear Vickers that can be adjusted with the pull tab. How I set them up is when at it's tighest adjustment, I can easily grab it with my left hand and present to target and it just "falls" into the pocket of my chest/arm without the sling getting caught between the buttpad and my chest. On my ARs I run them the same with the exception that I have two QD mounts on the left side (one closeat to the receiver and one clossat to the muzzle) so I can sling them over my back easier without it flopping around due to the leverage point. After I do a little dremel work on the LCS, I will most likely do the same with my M4. Here are two videoa that may help. Despite it being for a rifle, it can be utilized all the same.
