tucker301 Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 Forgive my wandering into the dark side of the sandbox , but I thought you 1014 types might get something out of this. Saw on the tv (a device which receives broadcasted mind control rays) yesterday, and it looked like a nice way to handle a side saddle for reloading and for accessing a sidearm. Forgive my ignorance and insulance if you guys already knew this technique. [ 04-06-2006, 08:35 PM: Message edited by: tucker301 ] Quote
Red Cobra Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 I believe that was aired on SHOOTING USA. Thanks for the pics tucker! Quote
MyBoyElroy Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 Top 2 pics are what is known as "Idaho Reload" technique in 3-gun. Bottom two pics are known as a sloppy transition to sidearm. Quote
Butch-M Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 Why sloppy??? (just out of a quest for knowledge) Quote
Mesa Tactical Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 We've been trained that the purpose of a sling is for transitioning, which is why combat shotguns should always have slings. Quote
