Need some help identifying a magazine tube

Hello everyone, 

First time posting here, I recently bought my first Benelli, a new M3. I wanted to go with the 7 round one piece magazine tube versus getting the extension for the factory tube. I bought a tube on ebay to find out it will not work as it has fine threads. I bought another tube online which has coarse threads. Now I'm trying to figure out what tube I have leftover. Did the early m3s have fine threads? The tube is almost identical besides the threads and being slightly longer. Some pics below. The gray tube on top is the new one and the mystery tube is on the bottom. I would appreciate any help as hours of googling have not helped. Thank you.

The fine thread tube is the early version, serial numbers below M155400

@BigPaul13, I don't think I'd give a lot for your older (fine threaded magazine), but I might be interested in a spare for my pair of older M3's if you plan on selling.
