Camp Stamp
I'm replaced the Briley Carbon Fiber tube on my M4 with a Carrier Comp Titanium tube because I liked how it looked better and went through the whole process to install it. However, after installing the new tube I noticed that the retaining band is a little loose. Will it be okay or do I need to reinstall the tube? Did you have any issues with Briley Carbon Fiber tube beside the look? Did it make significant weight reduction compared to stock tube? Thinking of buying one for my M4 to save weight. I've had no issues with the Briley tube and yes, it is much lighter that the 5rd tube that came with my M4. I'm wanting to sell the Briley tube, so feel free to message me if you'd like to buy it off me.
Camp Stamp
Decided to reinstall the tube just to be on the safe side and had my dad help me out. The tube is definitely fully screwed in nice and tight, but the band is still just a tiny bit loose. Maybe is was like that from the start and I never noticed. Either way, the tube isn't going anywhere and the handguard keeps the band in place when fully assembled.
