WTS: H&K M1 Super 90 Combat 18.5", ghost ring sight.

Pre-Ban, 12 ga. H&K Imported Benelli M1 Super 90, Combat model (18.5" barrel, ghost ring sights, pistol grip, +3 extension tube).

Receiver, stock/ pistol grip are in great shape, including matte blue finsih.

The entire barrel has had the oem matte bluing finish removed, & is polished/ oiled & in great shape, just without factory bluing. 

Ghost ring sight shows some wear.

I'm curious, what was the reason for removing the bluing and polishing the barrel?

It had acquired surface rust and pitting and when I got it I realized only way to get all the pitting out was to strip it sand it polish it. Plus the finish was gone in places already.  I just couldn't afford to have it hot blued once finished. But I actually recently sold this to a family friend. Ended up getting $600
