pro1
I just bought a stoeger 2000 I went to shoot clay pigeons and used 2 3/4 inch 1oz. 7.5 shot had a big problem with the cycling of the shells. I was wondering what the best load would be for the breakin period and how many rounds will it take? I appreciate any feedback.
tucker301
Go here: http://www.stoegerindustries.com/firearms/model2000-specs.tpl Read the last line 100 times out loud.
EFLOYD
Says the same for my SBEII and I read it 100 times. But I also shot it 100 times with 7/8oz loads straight outta the box and it hasn't skipped a beat yet!! So, sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't BAM, "min recommended load, use 3dram 1 1/8oz", BAM, "min recommended load, use 3dram 1 1/8oz", BAM, "min recommended load, use 3dram 1 1/8oz", BAM, "min recommended load, use 3dram 1 1/8oz".......100 times. tucker301
Easy there, EFLOYD! I didn't mention the Bam part. Don't do any lasting damage. Last thing we need is another crazyhiar
Webfoot
I was looking at some target/field loads today and saw a lot of 2 3/4 dram with 1 1/8 shot (using a browing sweet 16 for quail this weekend). Wal-Mart did not have any 3 dram in the 1 1/8 load. I know the min. recommended is 3 dram but how does the slightly lighter dram with 1 1/8 shot cycle with the inertia system? I guess it depends on the gun/luck.
