rooster31 Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 Three of us went out this morning, 9 green wings, 2 blue wings, 3 hen mallards and 1 drake mallard with very very little plumage. Over all a great morning!!! Quote
MOFOWLER Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Sounds like a pretty descent shoot. Can't kill em down here for another month. What's up with wackin 3 hens though? Quote
rooster31 Posted September 24, 2006 Author Posted September 24, 2006 Well I'm the type of hunter that eats my kill, not just take pictures and toss them or mount them, so to me a duck is a duck. Quote
tucker301 Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Sounds to me like all were within the confines of the law. Good Shooting! Quote
rooster31 Posted September 24, 2006 Author Posted September 24, 2006 Yes all kills were legal, And very tasty too!! Iowa law states- Daily bag limit 6 ducks of wich no more than 4 mallards (of wich no more than 2 can be female), 2 wood ducks, 2 red heads, 1 pintail, 1 canvasback, 1 black duck and 2 scaup. Quote
