keeck Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 After shooting trap with my new SuperNova the guy I shoot with, who is significantly better than I am at trap, could not figure out where the gun shoots. He is used to Remington trap guns and tried to bury the clay, lead it, shoot dead on, and shoot under the clay. He prides himself on finding where a gun shoots after two shells and he can't figure it out on the SuperNova. Does anyone know where it fires? Quote
bigblue Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 Only advice I can give you is that recently I purchased a used sbe and it had the d shim installed and it shot incredibly low compared to what I am used to. Perhaps try a different shim until it shoots how you like. Good luck Quote
HOGWILD Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 Patern board would be only way to find answer to that question! Quote
Novaking Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 all three of my Nova's shoot strait down the rib. The mid-bead and the front bead make a figure 8. novaking Quote
keeck Posted May 15, 2008 Author Posted May 15, 2008 thank u all...i might get a new shim this weekend and try it at the club tuesday...if it doesnt work i guess ill keep trying other stuff. Quote
cody6.0 Posted May 21, 2008 Posted May 21, 2008 My Supernova was the first shotgun I purchased and took a few shots to figure out mine also. I was very used to my rifles and handguns so a shotgun was a completely different experience. Anymore I shoot my shotguns more than anything else I own. Quote
Guest GunCrazyD Posted May 23, 2008 Posted May 23, 2008 should float the target on top of the bead... Quote
