scottryan
Can any Super Black Eagles hold a shell on the carrier? If so, what is the serial number cut off.
M1014
its a cutoff alright,,rather the lack of,look on the bottom of your bolt,,if there is one relief notch then you can ,,if theres two you can't.
c rum
Its a real simple mod to the bolt to allow a round on the carrier if you have the newer bolt with 2 notches on the bottom.

tucker301
As far as I know, all SBE's will float a shell on the carrier. All SBEII's will not ('til you fix them).

No they wont because I have a regular SBE that was made around 1998 or 1999 that does not float a shell. It is not an HK import but still has the round safety. c rum
You can also trim out the notch at about a 45 deg angle to the rear of the bolt it is faster and easier than epoxy and you don't have to worry about the epoxy coming out.
