Duggan
When I get my pistol permit any week now, the first thing I'm buying is a compact XD-45, shortly followed by a glock 19 probably. I've shot both extensively, both are relatively cheap, very reliable, and serve the purpose I want them for well.
shotgunNoob
I took a look at the Sig forum and from what I can tell, regarding the P220s anyway, was that most people were having issues with the carry version or those models with an internal extractor. Its weird...my P220 is only 8 months old or so, yet it has an external extractor. Based upon the latest entries in the Sig forum and also, the images Sig has up on their website...the new guns all seem to have internal extractors!! This seems like and has obviously been shown, a BAD idea on their part. I guess I was lucky enough to get one of the last batches of properly equipped models. Man, I hope Sig changes their current direction. Its a shame..they are such sweet guns..or at least, were.
Unobtanium
I am a die-hard H&K USP fan. Of the few I have played with, all were accurate, reliable, and VERY soft shooting due to the guide-rod/spring recoil reducer design. Glocks work pretty dang well too!
