This is one of many causes of the issue. Here is a series of photo's that documents the issue fairly well and how to eliminate this as a cause of light strikes. This could lead to better insights when deep cleaning your Benelli at the end of the year as well.

Ensure to inside of your bolt head is clean, more specifically where the firing pin travels through the bolt. Worked on many Benelli's with a lot of debris in tghis area which caused light strikes.
