I saw this pic of the underside of a Benelli where they shaved the reciever at the bottom where the follower would actually rest when theres no ammo in the tube,,and actually exposed more of the bottom half of the follower to prevent thumb hang ups,,a bit to radical for me,,when all one has to do is pull your thumb straight back instead of down and out,,ask those three gun guys ,,they know about that cut trick,

all M1014s came with a skeletized stock,,some joker made the swap,,,

one of these guys said call C/S ,,,do that berfore you go to Benny,,,,,,because the M4 series gas guns have special parts and features that others don't,,,Benny does alot with the M1 & 2 series which are way different from yours,,tear yours down,,work that trigger group,,look at the reciever port area ,make sure your bolt to chamber area locks up solid,,recoil spring slams the bolt not sets it into the chamber,,fondle the whole weapon slowly and carefully,,,put some pics on the forum for us to see,,,read that manual,,plus there are other M1014 manuals to read to,,,,get going,,the answer is right in front of you and me and the rest of us,,,keep us posted,,thanks

welcome ksxdguy,,,when I have a problem with my M1014 which is never,,I run some good quality snap caps thru the weapon,,it helps narrow down the problem,,but I do own other brands of shotguns which are problematic,hence the snap caps,,,sincerely M1014,,hey tuck,,,those sharp guys you mentioned,,where are they???

tend to differ about trusting the Benelli in combat against man or beast,,,I would trust any of mine and even one out of the box,,,a malfunction is like drag racing,,"any given day"

mainly good performance reviews on and off the internet.what else would there be with such a well thought and put together shotgun,,,look at the name of the firm who built it,,great rep don't ya think???????????????????????????

I took some pics of them with my stone age vintage digital -1998 model,,I'll look for them,,they had leather and some fancy inscription marks also,,

that painted Benelli looks like the ones at the 2007 shot show on there future promo rotating display,,they also had leather and gold and other stuff on them,,they looked pretty cool.

I've been mixmatching for years,,long before most of you could spell m4 let alone M1014,don't doubt your Benelli M1014/M4 daddy ,which is me,,ever again,,or you will remain in fools corner for God and all to see,then again,its kinda entertaining really,,

take your weapon down to the shop where the other one is and ask to try a fit and feel test ,if so then you'll know for sure,,do it during a lull in the shop time/with a good counter guy,,plus,if they stall,, tell them if the test is good,,you'll buy it,,go do it,pretend your a betting man,,and the wager is the loss or gain of your Benelli,,would you really bet on some unknown ,,with a silly handle like dipsh!t27 or a well known factor thats tried/true/tested on this forum,,if your a real M4fanatic like me ,,,I'm sure you'll put your money where your mouth is and do the next thing rite.

look man,,its all in the tube for colllapsing,,not in the stock,,,an M1014 stock will work on any Benelli M4 as long as the tube is milled,,think,,the tube is the key,, not the stock,,all of the skeletized collaspible stocks are the same.
