  1. I think you are right ... It didn't look like a 2". Can't wait to test this baby out. I won't be using the XR's this year so hopefully the Supreme shots do well. Paul
  2. Mudhen I purchased the .660 .. I took your advice from a previous post. They sent me a 2" instead of the 1" ... makes the barrel look so long LOL. No big deal. Not sure who I spoke with. Thanks for the lesson on Beretta/Benelli chokes LOL! Paul
  3. I ordered a SBEII Rhino Turkey Choke from Wing Supply. When I got the choke the invoice says Beretta Xtrema/Benelli SBEII Rhino Turkey Choke BUT on the actual choke it says Beretta Xtrema only ... on the package it says Beretta Xtrema and it's checked off but where it says Benelli SBEII there is no check mark. I called Wing Supply and they were no help at all ... very rude over the phone and had no intention to help out. So I decided to call Rhino and see what they have to say and lady over the phone said it "should" fit .. she didn't seem to convincing! The choke does fit the SBEII but I want to make sure it fits correctly. Can anyone tell me if this choke is interchangeable with both the SBEII and Xtrema? Thanks Paul
  4. You may want to try CanadianGunNutz.com and post on that forum. Lots of good information there. Paul
  5. I just got an email from them and this is what they said: We will have available the #10402 for the Benelli Nova and the SBE II. Our recoil pads will replace the current pop-in pad that is now on the gun. Our LimbSaver pads are an inch thick and the suggested retail is $41.95 but can be purchased at a better price through our dealers.

    elephant

You would probably Piss Off the elephant more than hurting it. The chances are, if you have an Elephant charging you, you will probably drop a load in your pants before you unload with just a shotgun. There is a reason they require minimum .375H&H/9.3x74R for Dangerous Game. You take your shotgun, I'll have my .470Nitro Express with me! Paul
  7. Reduced to $60US Shipped. Thanks Paul
  8. ****! I just ordered the Benelli recoil pad!!! Paul
  9. Bookester I recall emailing you a while back ... I think I emailed you again yesterday. Check your email and let me know. Thanks Paul

    SBEII RECOIL

What exactly is a recoil suppresor? Doesn't the SBEII already have the recoil system in the stock? Paul
  11. I wasn't sure where to place this ad and I appologize if this is not accepted on the forum. I have a Benelli SBEII 14 3/8" LOP recoil pad that I am selling. I bought the SBEII this fall and I have ordered the 14" LOP recoil pad to replace it. The pad is brand new, nothing wrong with it. Will accept any reasonable offer or even a trade. If you have any questions contact me at [email protected] Paul [ 02-08-2006, 07:42 AM: Message edited by: Paolo ]
  12. For those that have shot both guns, what do you think is the better in overall performance? Why do you think so? Personally I have shot a few different Beretta's and I think they are nice guns and shoot well BUT that being said I own a Benelli SBE and a SBEII Paul
  13. Oh ... LOL ... I thought you mentioned ER as a choke. I didn't read your post correct. I have a box of Supremes so I'm going to use those first unless they shoot poorly then I will use the ER's. Paul
  14. What are ER's? Can you forward me a website? What about Carlson Crio or Briley chokes...are they any good for the SBEII? Paul
  15. I always wait for the closest shots ... It's definitely alot more fun! Between the calling and the birds circling over your head and then finally coming in with their wings cupped...it's awesome!!! However there is an area where we hunt that near shots is almost impossible so that is why I need the long shots. Has anyone tested the Wad Wizard or Patternmaster with a SBEII? If so what shot loads were you using? Thanks! Paul
  16. Thanks Mudhen. I can't wait until I get this choke! Have you tested them with the Winchester Supreme loads 2oz #6? Also, what choke do you recommend for waterfowl? I'd like to get one for long range shots. Paul
  17. Smart @ss LOL Commando, I was going to purchase the Carlson Crio Turkey Choke but I've heard so many good things about this Rhino Choke, I had to try it out. I hope it's as good as they say ... $100 less in my pocket. Anyone know if the Rhino Choke is good for all shots including steel? Paul
  18. I just ordered my Rhino choke from Wingsupply ... I got the .660 in 2" .... what is the difference between the 1 1/2" and 2"??? Can these Rhino chokes be used with Steel shots? Paul
  19. Where can I purchase Rhino chokes? I'd like to get one for my SBEII for Turkey hunting. I live in Canada so if there are any Canadian retailers I'd prefer it ... save a few bucks on duties. Paul
  20. Would like to get some insight on the topic of Backboring. Thanks! Paul [ 02-06-2006, 12:28 PM: Message edited by: Paolo ]
  21. I've been doing a lot of reading in regards to Turkey Chokes for the SBEII specifically and just can't decide. For those that own a SBEII NOT a SBE, I would like to know what chokes you are using for Turkey? I did a search on here and it seems like Rhino .660 is the popular choice. I can only find the Rhino 2" .660 ported Turkey Choke ... is that good? I've looked at the Carlson Crio Turkey Choke .655, Briley Turkey Choke, Undertaker and a couple of others. The Carlson Crio Turkey Choke is the only one, other than the Rhino, that I'm comfortable with. I just can't decide!!! I use Winchester Supreme Turkey Loads #5. Turkey Loads

Does anyone use or tried the Carlson Crio Turkey Choke .665 for a SBEII? If so, how well did it perform? What shots, size, etc. were you using? Thanks! Paul
  23. Ain't nobody here searching for anything, therefore we don't have any "search button challenged" just a "quick to jump on others poster" Now...if anyone is interested in a trade please email me [email protected] Paul
