  1. slu_med, There IS not going to be a class action suit, so just drop it. And I doubt there are many Benelli fans that will boycott them. I won't. You should also know it's not a rifle, it's a SHOTGUN. Yes it was expensive. I apparently paid more than you, but that's not the point. The point is we should be lobbying Benelli to sell the appropriate recoil spring tube. If they won't then perhaps some machinists will. I have a lead on two. Considering Benelli already produces the part, it's easy money for them to make some extra and sell them for an unseemly profit. [ 09-30-2004, 07:09 PM: Message edited by: dport ]
  2. Since you're the "in" at BenelliUSA, just tell them we want the recoil spring tube for the Law Enforcement version of the M4 made available. We don't want Benelli to install it; we just want to be able to purchase it.
  3. Not again. Here we go: She does have her facts straight. This has been covered ad nausem here and here.
  4. It will fit, but you won't be able to lock positions. She does have her facts straight. This has been covered ad nausem here and here.
  5. http://www.100megspop3.com/oldvalkyry/m58.html Hope it helps.
  6. You'd think they would read their on message board. All they have to do is sell the tube. ****, they could ask an ungodly amount of money for it, and I'll be us M1014 owners would pay for it. OT: Rescue, I notice you're in the next town over. Did you get the M1014 from Superior, Bobs, The Armory, A&P or none of the above?
  7. Considering I can put an M4 stock on my M1014, the current config it's in, I'd say that's fishy. Sounds fishy, but I think you're right. Found this where I normally buy Benelli parts: http://www.calssportingarmory.com/BenelliStockForends.htm Look for the 70085, look at the fine print. The skeletonized stock will only collapse on the LE gun. The civy guns won't. But you're paying 170 bucks for the stock and the pistol grip. Looks like you need the LE recoil can. There was a P/N posted here. Again here's a related post. The Skeletonized stock will only collapse on a LE version of the M4. LINK [ 09-23-2004, 05:55 PM: Message edited by: dport ]
  8. The applicable law is here: http://www.benelliusa.com/forums/ultimatebb.php/topic/1/815.html
  9. Good point if the ATF didn't prohibit them then they're OK. The question is, is Benelli not importing the version with the collapsable stock in order to keep the ATF from issuing a ruling on the legality of importing them for other than USMC use?
  10. Hi ipguy, Don't want to throw cold water on the party, but here is my concern: For Reference here's 925, take note of (3): It wouldn't be illegal to import the shotgun as is, and it is not illegal sell the collapsable stock. What MAY be illegal is putting the two together, if you're not a .gov agency. There may be a way that it is legal, but I don't see it right now. If Benelli has gotten any clarification it would be very helpful.
