Actually Mod will work for ranges much farther than 16 to 17 yrds. I shoot Mod choke at everything and ive taken birds up to 50 yrds away so just depending on how you shoot the mod should be your ebst choice.

Beleive it or not the Wally world Remington 7 1/2's are an extremely good load. For 35 dollars a case you really cant beat them. The shells will recycle reliably and will make you happy shot after shot.

I agree, whats the point? Not alot of ''BIRD'' killin goin on with that. Maybe take it to Iraq it might be in good use there.

The only thing i can think of is to make sure that the springs and suck are fully broken in because when firing the springs are somtimes to strong and will come closed before the shell can make its exit

Waylon, when oiling your gun its not good to freshley oil a gun and take it out in the cold. See you got the oil cover in your gun and when it gets down close to freezing that oil gets gummy in slows the action down and it takes time for the oil to warm up and then it will cycle. Happened to me before, dont worry bout it.

deffinatley take it to a Benelli dealer or just send it into benelli. I'd hate to be in ur situation.

I have been shooting the Benelli M1 and have absolutely loved it. I thought it was time to upgrade though and have ordered the new Super Black Eagle 2. Do you owners of this gun like how it performs?

No, do not buy a mossberg. Mudhen you do not no what you are talking about. If the Nova rattles or whatever maybe think about going up to the M1 or if not benelli, go to the Remington Super Mag. NOT MOSSBERG

Ive shot a Benelli M1 all my life. Just the other day i decided its time to upgrade so I ordered the Super Black Eagle 2. Does anyone own one? If so do you like it?

Benelli boy, the benelli M1 is the same as it was when it came out, is how ive been informed. The M2 is the same as the M1 but with some mods. It has the comfert Tech and some other new mods that are a little different from the M1. I hope this helps you out.
