  1. I had a left handed M1 and first time out, I shot two cases through it without a hitch. Have you tried to let someone else shoot the gun and see how it cycles for them? My buddy has a Stoeger 2000 that refuses to cycle for him but both of nephews shot the thing without any cycling issues of any sort.
  2. the I-12 is just a fancy Stoeger 2000
  3. that thing has to be auto check out a couple of the other vids and they've got some full-auto stuff and gets me thinking that the M4 is auto also cause I don't see his finger move off the trigger
  4. no, I tried it last year and I believe the trigger guard prevented 'em from fitting properly [ 07-02-2006, 12:28 AM: Message edited by: nodark ]
  5. if you're leaning towards the I-12, then just get a Stoeger2000 they're identical
  6. I haven't noticed cleaner affecting my camo'd M1. Get the mag extension and give it a try or you'll keep wondering. Email me, if you're interested in a camo 4shot extension.

    Choke Tube Lube

I normally use just Rig gun grease but you'll be more than fine with anti-seize compound
  8. ImaPackerBacker, not trying to be a smart-*** but the best shooting O/U will be the one that fits you the best now being a smart-***, you should change your forum name, it sounds like a character from BrokeBack Mountain
  9. you will probably have to settle for a rifled choke but I don't believe there is anyone making them for the SBE II anyway
  10. wrap a shoestring around the handle and pull it out
  11. it seems the majority of hunting down in my area (South Texas) is on fenced ranches a friend took me out (my first time hunting) in January to one of these ranches and although it was pretty cool to see all the different animals (it was an exotic game ranch), it was kinda sad in the fact the the animals are "caged" and even more sad that people will pay (happily) 5 digits to shoot one of these animals
  12. Could you post pix or email some? what gauges?
  13. they'll thread in but they'll stick out, like an extended choke
  14. I don't think it's actually any different than the same brand that's sold in the gun store but it's just a relatively light load. Try something heavier (not only in shot weight but dram equiv., as well).
  15. usmarine, it looks real similar to the one from GG&G http://gggaz.com/products/benelli.php

    Barrel length

in my opinion, go with the 24" I like the handling/swing of a short barreled gun
  17. thanx, I think I'll be copying your idea this week
  18. If you've NEVER lubed the gun, then give it a try and see if that helps your feeding prob. If not, switch back to the heavier load. The most common feeding probs I see is with people trying to feed their gun the cheapest (Wal-Mart) stuff they can get. You can get the Meprolight tritium replacements for your ghost rings. Be advised, there's supposedly two different types available for earlier and later models. I'd use slugs to sight it in with no more constriction that an IC. As for hitting better with the Beretta, it just may "fit" you better than the Benelli. It all comes down to how the gun fits and throws up to your shoulder. I doubt if you'll hit the end of the mag extension.
  19. M1014, could you give some more details on your setup? Is it a mag release button from a 1911, that's been modified?
  20. same goes for me on getting dibs on guns that come into the store it's a definite perk
  21. I don't see why the SpeedFeed pistol grip stock would not fit. It's listed for an M1 but the Benelli Steady Grip is listed for both an M1 and SBE and I don't believe Benelli offers two different models.
  22. it's in new condition, considering I put a 4rnd extension on as soon as I pulled it out of the box yes, it should match your M2 Field (it's black and came off of an M2 Tactical)
