If your luck it hasn't sold yet. Buy the 11707 and that's a steal at $1300. Must not come with the colapsable stock. The 11707 comes with the colapsable stock, but you have some dealer separating the two and selling the stock for more.

newbaxter66, I read your mail too quick. Your question was "Am having some trouble removing the adjustable stock from my M4" 1st if the model is 11707 then, with the muzzle facing left and the adjustable stock in your right hand "Fully Collapsed". Depress adjustable stock button and look at the top of the Stock Rod. You'll see a dimple, then one line, then the second line. On the second line stop then turn the butt stock toward you, then slide it all the way off. That's it. Have fun.

NWBAXTER66, make sure you take the trigger group out, that is what locks the stock in place. Then you can unscrew the stock.

Listen to Hogwild and Full Bore. My wife and I each own one (11707) they are beauties. It took me a bit to figure out the trigger group is what locked it in place. Then I was able to unscrew the stock.

SVTKILR, I would purchase the M11707. This one allows you to change the butt stock from the solid stock to the calapsable/extended version. The M1014 with the flag (only 2500 made) does not give you this capability.
