  1. As much of a PITA as changing that tube is, you make it without cost in mind, imo!
  2. Mine is in between the two. It is a 2017-2018 Entry model. It is not bevelled inside like the one on the left, not is it "crisp". The inside looks like the outside, one the one on the left, nearest the camera. Gentle roll-over. I think there is some variability for sure.
  3. The Sionyx is my Dad's Father's Day gift. I bought it for him so that he can go on walks and look at "what was that noise" and record things and share it with his wife when they go walking or whatever. It's not meant for anything but fun and building quality time for him. I took it out, charged all of the batteries, and configured the camera settings for him so that when he unwraps it, it's 100% ready to roll. This was just a test video I did. Here is my setup: L3 filmless tubes that I spec'ed.
  4. Now, under NODS. (Sorry, the sionyx wanted more light. I just got it and am learning. Really, it's a Father's Day gift for my Dad, but I charged all batteries and so forth and got it all set up for him so it's unwrap and play, was just testing it). 6 rounds on 3 targets, followed by a reload from shot card/side saddle and 3 rounds on 3 targets. (First 6 shots LE133, next 3 shots LE127RS)

  6. A friend of mine ordered a C-stock from them when there was a 1 week ETA. He got his stock in about 2, 2.5 weeks. Zero issues. Makes sense considering shipping and inventory time.
  7. I just got back in from patterning 10 rounds of LE133 00 at 25 meters (maybe a hair longer, I paced it off, and my pace measures out a hair longer than a meter). The largest single-shell pattern was 9" across. The combined group size of 5 round's pattern was 11" and 13", for each group, respectively. This is a 14" Entry gun.
  8. Look at this forum. It has grown pretty heavily in the last few years vs. how it was for years. Check out Google Trends. The Benelli M2 searches don't turn up much of a trend. It's been pretty flat. The M4 on the other hand right around the end of 2019 began getting a LOT more hits. I say all of this to say that I think quality has been the same, we are just seeing more samples in the wild, and more people at home on the internet posting about it. The only thing "new" is that the stock extensions on SOME of the shotguns being put out are a hair crooked. That is new, but it is not entirely damning, as yeah, it's a thing that can happen. That it happened now, in isolation, doesn't mean a lot. Back in 2009 or so, I had an M4 with a FSB welded on so crooked I used nearly all my windage on the rear to zero it. Benelli replaced my barrel or front sight, I don't recall, probably barrel. I also notice some machine marks inside my upper receiver where the barrel tang goes on my new M4 Entry...weird? New sign of dull tooling? Well here is Kip Carrier's from the 2000's... Everything I am seeing from Benelli is "within tolerance" and just an increase in prevalence, more or less. This Blu Boi was posted in 2013 by Stranger Danger: Again, I am seeing nothing really bad going on here, just more guns out in the wild.
  9. It sounds like raw material is a huge key player, here. Corrosion resistance and so forth of the material, that sort of thing.
  10. Technically can't you just price shipping and handling separately for each item, regardless? Say, you could sell me a widget that cost you $399 to make for $99 + $399 S&H and "inventory management logistics"?
  11. I just bought a roll off of Amazon and cut to fit.
  12. With some practice, especially involving the sling, you can be very stable and expose quite a minimum of yourself.
  13. I have plenty left to learn! Just sharing as I go.
  14. I prefer the Vang Comp cards. I use the 6 shot version because that's what they're offered in. I have tried Esstac and SOE, and the Vang Comp is hands down the better product.
  15. Thank-you! My goal was to provide a sub-10 minute video covering manipulation of the Benelli M4 platform. Shooting, moving, using cover, recoil mitigation, all of these are topics that will be covered later.
  16. The AVA didn't die off because it was better. Now, I like the AVA guy, he was super cool, very interactive, and I feel bad saying his product wasn't my preference, even, but it is what it is.
  17. Even cooler would be a custom option. Me? I love 12.25 and 14.25 (under NODS), but others may want different. Maybe a body armor and a non, etc. I think it would be super Gucci if you could do custom LOP and number of settings for people, by request, non refundable pre-pay, understanding that it will take machine and coating time prior to delivery. Otherwise most settings just go unused once the user picks their setting.
  18. This is more a documentary of my personal evolution. I am not an instructor, "expert", or Holiday Inn frequenter, and would be happy to hear how I can improve. That said, a big reason for my fumble on the live drill is I loaded the shot card mixed, when I typically leave it all slug. It tripped me up. Normally, its all buck in the gun, and all slug for select slug on the card.
  19. That sucks. This really is an awesome component. If I didn't have only entry models at this point, I'd be all over buying this.
  20. But they do. Sometimes it be like that, with everything. From cars to C-stocks.
  21. No, the m4 entry is cyl bore, fixed.
  22. At 10 yards a cyl bore would sling le132 into a golf ball size clump. If you push this to 25-35 yards, you're going to see this fall apart vs what a cyl would acheive. Your 10 yard groups are already similar to mine at 2x that distance.
  23. If you are using anything but a CYL choke, then yes, I expect trash performance past about 15 yards with Flite Control. My M4 Entry shoots 8" patterns or so at 25 yards using LE13300. At 35 yards, it's still keeping patterns on 2/3 IPSC steel typically, maybe dropping 1-2 pellets from time to time.
  24. Lame. But thems the rules.
