In California, 3 years ago, we had a split season for the first time. At first it looked like it was gonna be a pain in the ass but it ended up being a great season. The time between the 2 seasons allowed the ducks and geese to move back into the area making for very good shooting throughout the year.

I'll be putting up some picts of some California ducks tomorrow. Finally were startin to get some storms movin through here

I heard there were problems with cycling. Is that true?

I use the RNT screwdriver, its a great call for open water and it allows you to control the volume of air flow easily. Its not cheap though. Sean Mann White Out Expess- the best snow call I've ever used
