  1. Thats what I would assume too.... I dont own an M4 but I've got a Benelli SBE that I just tried it on and when the red dot on the cartridge drop lever was not visible, I pulled the trigger, and the hammer fell
  2. I thought the cartridge drop lever's purpose was to drop a shell onto the rail or when pushed it allowed the bolt to lock back... The sound of the cartridge drop lever when pushed and the sound of the hammer releasing are completely different so I dont see how the cartridge drop lever can serve as a de-cocking device.
  3. I just talked to a friend of mine who shot Hypersonic for the first time this week and he loves it... Me personally im going to stick with my Winchester HV's and Drylok Supremes. I killed 3 mallards, 2 sprig, and one ringneck with 5 shells this past week and every one of those birds were stone dead when they hit the water. If you're on'em those birds should be falling, if not well I dont know what to tell ya Find a shell you like, stick with it and keep your head down on that stock
  4. First half of the season until mid December: Ducks - Winchester HV #3's - Modified Choke Geese - Winchester HV #2's - Patternmaster Extended Long Range Choke Last half of the season: Ducks and Geese - Winchester Supremes #3's
  5. Uriah you're the guy who makes the Bucking the Odds videos on youtube with your buddy Lance right? **** you guys were the ones who got me hooked on coyote hunting so when im not out in the duck blind im usually chasing dogs. I'll let you know if I happen to pull off a triple...
  6. Mudhen, you ever hunt the Consumnes River?
  7. I haven't heard anything about these shells needing a certain type of choke, but I'll be shooting them out of a Pattern Master extended long range
  8. If you get a chance to pattern it, let me know what you think. I'll try and grab a box and put it up against those Winchester HV's and Supremes
  9. Are they closing the refuges up north for the season or what?
  10. Can anyone get me a price on a new or used SBE II without the comfort-tech stock on it
  11. Gustine, CA Not to bad for being done by 8:30
  12. For one, I had no intention to "set up" the Benelli Rep up, so lets just get that out of way. I was in the market to buy a new duck gun, after owning a Franchi I-12 and also shooting a few SBE II's, I had some questions for the guy. That is his job right..... to answer customers questions Most problems that occur are user error, I get that. But then again sometimes its not... I was dissappointed with the Benelli Rep's answers. He could of said "You know I understand that Benelli has had some complaints about a "Benelli Click" issue and we're looking to fix that problem by creating shotguns like the Vinci that is a true in-line inertia drivin shotgun meaning the barrel and the reciever are machined as one instead of two seperate pieces".....and so on. I think a Benelli shotgun is a comfortable fitting gun, light-wieght and shoulder's nicely, if Benelli fixes that "click" issue thats going to be one **** of a gun.
  13. I work at Bass Pro Shops in Manteca, CA behind the gun counter so im constantly dealing with customers looking to buy a new shotgun. I've been duck hunting since I was 4 yrs old so I know the importance of having a reliable shotgun in the duck blind. About a month or so ago the Benelli Rep for our area came into our store and I had a few questions that I needed answers for: For example "What is Benelli doing about their "Benelli Click" problem?" and "Why are the bolt handles falling out of the battery during shots?" When I asked him these questions there were a good number of people behind the counter that were looking forward towards hearing his answers, but when he walked over to the gun cleaning area and came back with a bottle of Rem Oil he told me to carry this in my wader jacket that way if my SBE II starts to jam up on me and does not want to cycle correctly then all I'd need to do was spray my gun down to fix it. I stopped him after he made that comment because if I am going to pay $1599 for a shotgun it better fire EVERY TIME and im sure as **** not going to pack Rem Oil with me. That wasn't necessarly the smartest thing to say..........coming from a Benelli Rep Beretta Xtrema 2, Winchester SX3, and the Browning Maxus are the three guns I would recommend
  14. Make sure your bolt battery is fully engauged Common problem with Benelli.........
  15. How does a limit of Spoonie's taste........... Figured a wise man must know
  16. I've got a buddy of mine who's looking forward to comin duck hunting with me this year and he's set on gettin a Super Nova with a black finish. There's only one problem, he's a lefty, and from the Benelli website I didn't see a Super Nova that was made for a left handed shooter. Does Benelli even make a left handed Super Nova or what?
  17. 3 in. dont need anything bigger if they're comin in feet down anyways right......
  18. Nice Shootin bud Good luck this season
  19. Really.... Last time I checked this guy is trying to get into waterfowling.
  20. Check out the Beretta Xtrema 2, in the duck blind your gonna want a gun that is going to hold up against the conditions out there whether it be ice or some thick mud, the 3 1/2" with the 26" barrel is nice but personally I like the 28" better. The kick-off system works with those heavier loads if you're worried about recoil. The action and the reciever run nice and smooth and I haven't seen a problem with feeding either. I guided two different guys this year shooting Xtrema 2's and we hunted in some pretty ugly **** and both of these shotguns performed prefectly. Its worth a shot to check it out at least.
  21. Do you guys think the Vinci will be chambered in 3 1/2" or not?
  22. TPWD said they can be at your house tomorrow between the hours of 8am-2pm. Have fun:D
  23. I think we might have to draw him a picture....
