Hi RR and welcome to the forum!
Are you thinking about getting some magnification or something more in the HWS/red dot realm?
I run Aimpoints and EO tech stuff on various rifles and a US Optics scope for my long range setup

Hi jyp
Check out post #41 of this thread. (also #s 23 & 35)

It turned out the problem was with a slight distortion on a OEM part.
My M80 has no fit issues

Hey Duggan,
Yeah... The top one was nice for 1998 when I bought it but I really haven't done anything to it since.
I have a light setup for the LMT setup with a pressure pad in a TangoDown grip but I got tired of having the VFG on there. I'll pick up one of the rail covers with the pad insert one of these days. I stuck some Troy tritiums on the LMT upper since I took the pick too.

I've got a M500 forend on one of my ARs. I love the ergonomic setup and the lack of exposed wires to worry about
gratuitous pic of other AR!

Why don't they make a dedicated fore end weapon light to replace the factory hand guard? I currently run the M80, but wish Surefire made one like the M1/2...
Thoughts...?
It would be sweet.....I'd order one in a hot second

Hi getanxd! and welcome to the forum.
You will get a lot more responses if you post under the Benelli section. That's where all the action is!

Anybody got any ideas on the torque specs for the screws? yes, some of us lead very sheltered lives where 'hand tightening' is insufficient
My original screws sure weren't very tight.
I bet if you ask Kip, he could give you the optimal magic spec number.

Its great practice for waves of zombie birds and traditional zombies, if they ever were to combine forces in order to feast on the living.
If only our brains weren't so darn delicious

A fun drill (only allowed if you are at a real range
) is to have one round of skeet loaded in the chamber followed by a slug in the tube. Have a buddy throw a clay for you and take it out with the trap load or birdshot of your choice then use the slug to hit any target from 50-100 yards (I use a 32oz gatorade bottle at 100 yards). I fill the tube 8+1 alternating between bird shot and slugs and go from clay to bottle, clay to bottle until the tube is empty. This will really improve your ability to get the sight picture fast, and on target.
Hey Stompy,
Your drill sounds like fun!
I'm going to give that one a try

I have already put the barrels on the oposite guns and put shells in the and unloaded them and they seem to work just wasnt sure about firing them so i guess i will change them back.
I've always heard from folks here that they don't interchange and I've never seen barrels advertised as fitting both. I haven't tried it, I have a M1 and a M4. If it seemed like a good fit maybe it would work but you might want to e-mail Benelli to confirm.

Have you experimented much patterning with other types of chokes (Briley for example) and different loads in the M1?
You'll probably see a lot of variations when you change things up and you'll probably find a combination that patterns the way you want (like the M2)

Hi ABCM and welcome to the forum.
The barrels will not interchange.
What are you trying to do? We might have a better idea of how to go about it.

I ordered 2 days ago and I still haven't gotten a shipping email yet. I'm not in that big of a hurry, I can wait. I just hate waiting, that's all.
Hopefully the zombies will wait until you receive your order

Please suggest me some optics for my new MR 1 rifle

I like the RMR (powered version) and have been considering one for my M4 for quite some time. I don't have a MR1 so I don't know if you can coax some lower field cowitness out of an RMR or not. Looking at the pics of the rifle, I doubt you would with the 512. I run a 516 with a FTS 3x magnifier on one of my ARs though and love it.
here's a pic:
