    I like this part:

    OUR BACKGROUND

We have been designing and manufacturing load bearing equipment since 1983. The designers military background is B11 mechanised infantry and B12 combat engineers. We design our products for real world military combat operations, and they have been combat proven world wide since the 1980's. We use the same design criteria as the U.S. ARMY NATICK RESEARCH CENTER. All our products are field tested in their design phase by active duty personnel for ergonomic interface and durability in the field.

This is good and very funny too:

COMMUNIST AND SWEAT SHOP FREE PRODUCTS

Many manufactures and suppliers are importing textile products made by CHILD labor and SLAVE labor in sweatshops in Asia, South Korea, Hati, Mexico, Communist China, and Communist Vietnam - the same communists who murdered and tourtured friends of mine. Every dollar you spend on these imported textiles from Communist countries helps prop-up and maintain murderous dictatorships who would not hesitate to put a bullet in the back of your head, or your wife's and child's head.

    FABRICATION MATERIALS

We don't use any MESH cloth in our product line, mesh cloth is mostly air and has too little body required for directly attaching heavy magazine and grenade pouches. When your running in the field sweating in your 10 pound body armor the mesh ventilation is mostly irrelevant to cooling. Mesh is best used for laundry bags to wash ladies undergarments.

We don't use any VELCRO in our product line. VELCRO makes way too much noise and is not durable enough for use on any of our products. Opening VELCRO pouches can be heard up to 100 YARDS away - that can give up your position and draw fire killing you or your whole squad. Any one who tells you making extra noise in combat dosen't matter, or having equipment that makes noise in combat doesn't matter, won't live long enough to find out that it does matter. Put that guy on point, just to be on the safe side.

We don't use any ZIPPERS on our vest products. There is a good reason for that because if you catch fire wearing a nylon vest with a zipper it will FUSE SHUT from the burning nylon cloth and webbing and stop you from getting the burning garment off - you WILL THEN BURN TO DEATH (!). This HAS happened to GI's and thats why military armor, and our vests, don't have zippers.

    Hey Stompy!

That's some good looking gear! I stuck that site under favorites.

  2. This is the view from my front porch. Took this the last time some lunatic tried to come mess with my family. As you can see, he didn't get far before becoming caught up in the first line of defense. Benelli never even came off Safe.

  4. Just got off the phone with someone at Impact Guns. I called to ask about the availability of collapsible stock 18.5" M4s since they only list the fixed stock versions on their website. Just last week I talked to their NFA guy about the availability of the M4 Entry and he said that they're ordering fixed AND collapsible stock 14" guns left and right. Since then though, I've decided to go with an 18.5" gun...but I still want the collapsible stock, which he said only adds about $100 to the purchase price.

Anyway, I told her that I just wanted to confirm that this is in fact an option on the 18.5" since it wasn't listed on their site. She checked with her manager, got back to me, and said that Benelli is no longer exporting M4s with the collapsible stocks into the US.

Is this true??? I'm new to the whole Benelli scene so maybe there's something I don't know here but I would think that if it's a $100 option on the M4 Entry, it'd be an option on the 18.5" M4 too. Is this news to anyone else?

    Hi Phil,

That's not really breaking news in Benelliland. If you want the 18.5 with the CS you can order a 11707 with the PG stock (get it through a Benelli authorized dealer so you can get the $200 rebate) Then buy your CS off Gunbroker which will probably run $400-$600, You can shop around.

You can order the stock for much less from Benelli if you are LEO and it is for duty use.

    Take Care,

    Hookster :)

  5. Finally decided to purchase and install the collapsible stock. I was uncertain at first due to the fact that I was running a standard stock, and it seem to work fine, but running the CS in the middle position makes the LOP much more user friendly.

I'll need some more range time before I decide one way or the other, but looks like I'll be dumping that standard stock....

If you mean standard (non PG) stock. I believe that hoser45 is looking for one.

  6. Thank you Hookster about the info on the TLR-2. I have 2 questions for you if you will.

    1. With the light and laser both on, will you be able to see the laser dot on a wall say 20 - 30 feet in front of you?

    2. Will the remote trigger the laser only, or will it only trigger the light? Basically can you have Light only/Light and Laser/Laser only.

    Thanks,

    Josh

    Hi Josh,

Yeah....no problem seeing the light and laser at same time at whatever distance

The TLR-2 has a small 3 position selector switch for laser only/light only/ light and laser, the pressure switch will activate whatever choice you have the selector switch set to.

  7. Hello Rocket,

Did you also purchase the Surefire X400 and the XT07 from New Frontier Armory, LLC? I did not want to email them until I was sure. Anyone specific I should ask for?

I was leaning towards the Streamlight TLR-2 for the M4 but did not like the remote switch as the Surefire's offers more features. With this pricing I could not pass up the offer.

    Thanks

    Hey jng,

One thing I like about the Streamlight vs Surefire is that the remote plug is a 90 degree plug which makes for less extra wire sticking out (at least the way I have it mounted) see my pics in posts 27, 28 and 29 of this thread

    http://www.benelliusa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17597

The Surefire plug sticks straight out, so it creates a loop of wire that could possibly snag on things.

  8. Notes from Aguila from th Midway site:

Mini-shotshells are only 1-3/4" long, and greatly increase the capacity of pump-action shotguns. They work great in Winchester 1300 shotguns, though other pump guns may not cycle reliably without modification. Perfect for use as low-recoil ammunition for single-shot or double guns as well. Ideal for recoil-sensitive shooters.

Notes from Aguila on Shotgun Modifications to use Minishells: First of all, any SAAMI/CIP approved 12ga shotgun may fire minishells, be it side-by-side, over-and-under or pump action; however, the latter type will not cycle them flawlessly. The out-of-the-box shotgun that we have tested cycling minishells very well, is the Winchester M1300 18" Defender. Winchesters 1897 seems to like the shorter rounds, however not as much as the Winchester 1300. We still have to test the Winchester 1887.

MOSSBERGS 500/590s will cycle minishells pretty well once the shooter acquires a "feeling" as to how to pump the action; however, this will not prevent the occasional jam. To further solve the problem, we have lengthened and widened the little short metal bar (shell elevator), which catches the round to be subsequently fed to the ramp and chamber. This modification will not prevent you from firing regular size shot shells. The other modification that would decisively help in the proper cycling, would be to install the ejector in a more forward position to catch the spent shorter shell and eject it, before it may flip and cause jams. However, we DO NOT recommend you to do this, because you will most likely no longer be able to fire regular size shells.

Any competent gunsmith should be able to perform the modification to the elevator described above.

REMINGTONS 870s seem to require a more involved modification, which we have never attempted. We have received calls from clients stating that they have tried our minishells in their 870s with excellent results, and that they did not understand why we have always mentioned the potential cycling problems. To this, we would like to state once more that minishells will not cycle flawlessly in regular pump action shotguns, no matter how well some customers are able to cycle them. Again, the Winchester 1300 Defender would seem to be the one cycling minishells best.

We do not know of any semi-automatic shotguns functioning with minishells

  9. Does anyone know if Limbsaver makes a recoil pad for a M2 Tactical w/pistol grip? Or can you suggest a good alternative? Thanks

The Mesa Urbino will have an M2 stock w/Limbsaver
